President's Welcome

On behalf of the International Embryo Technology Society (IETS) and the IETS Board of Governors, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 46th Conference of the IETS to be held in New York City from January 16–19, 2020. The Annual Conference of the IETS has emerged as the preeminent meeting in animal reproductive biotechnology, covering a broad area from embryo production and transfer techniques to cloning and transgenesis. The conference typically attracts more than 500 attendees from all over the world. Basic researchers and embryo transfer practitioners attend the meeting to learn about the most recent advances in embryo technology and related areas.

Co-Chairs Letter of Invitation

On behalf of the IETS, we would like to extend a warm invitation to all IETS members to join us for the 46th annual conference of the IETS, January 16–19, 2020, in New York, New York, USA.

The program theme, "From stem cells to neonates—the embryo at the center of all,” includes the following topics:

  • In Vitro Oogenesis
  • Embryonic Stem Cells and Gene Editing
  • New Developments in Embryo Transfer Technologies
  • Developmental Programming Associated with Assisted Reproduction
  • Enhancing Success of Embryo Transfer Programs

There will be a Practitioners’ Forum, as well as a parallel session from the Domestic Animal Biomedical Embryology Committee (DABE) Committee. The Companion Animals, Non-Domestic and Endangered Species (CANDES) preconference symposium will take place on Thursday, January 16.

An opening reception will take place on Friday evening, and on Sunday evening, there will be a closing party and activities.

Start date for the preconference is on Thursday, January 16, and ending with the closing party on Sunday, January 19, at the New York Hilton Midtown Hotel.

The abstract system is open for submissions for the program.

Deadline to submit abstracts is Wednesday, July 17, at 11:59 PM, Central Time.

Selection for oral presentations will be based on scientific merit, and priority will be given to abstracts that relate to the main session topics.
