On behalf of the International Embryo Technology Society (IETS) and the IETS Board of Governors, it is our pleasure to invite you to attend the 47th Conference of the IETS to be held in Lima, Peru, from January 16 to 19, 2021. The Annual Conference of the IETS has emerged as the preeminent meeting in animal reproductive biotechnology and covers a broad area, from embryo production and transfer techniques to embryo biotechnologies such as genome editing for the livestock industry and biomedical models. This coming year will include a symposium and a wet lab prior to the meeting as well as a practitioners' forum and other specialized sessions during the meeting. The conference typically attracts more than 500 attendees from all over the world, with basic researchers and embryo transfer practitioners attending to learn about the most recent advances in embryo technology and related areas.

On behalf of the IETS, we would like to extend a warm invitation to all, to join us for the 47th annual conference of the IETS, January 16–19, 2021, in Lima, Peru.

There will be a Practitioners’ Forum, as well as a parallel session from the Companion Animals, Non-Domestic and Endangered Species (CANDES). The Domestic Animal Biomedical Embryology Committee (DABE) will have a preconference symposium, on “Extracellular vesicles and reproduction,” on Saturday, January 16.
An opening reception will take place on Sunday evening, and on Tuesday evening, there will be a closing dinner and activities.
Start date for the preconference is on Saturday, January 16, and ending with the Gala Dinner on Tuesday, January 19.
The abstract system is open for submissions for the program.
Deadline to submit abstracts is Wednesday, July 15, at 11:59 PM, Central Time.
Selection for oral presentations will be based on scientific merit, and priority will be given to abstracts that relate to the main session topics.
