Student Competitions

IETS hosts six exciting competitions for students to share their research and help fund their attendance at the IETS 2027 Annual Conference.

  • The Undergraduate Poster Competition encourages undergraduate students to attend and participate in IETS 2027.
  • The CSIRO Best Poster Competition encourages graduate students to attend and participate in IETS 2027.
  • The Graduate Student Research Competition provides graduate students a platform to present their findings via poster presentation at IETS 2027 and compete for prestigious awards that acknowledge their scientific excellence in embryo technology.
  • The CANDES Trainee Travel Award is open to any trainee (undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, or veterinary student) who plans to attend IETS 2027.
  • The Palmer Prize in Equine Reproduction encourages undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, and veterinary students to attend and participate in IETS 2027, in honor of Dr. Éric Palmer.
  • The Peter W. Farin Trainee Travel Scholarship provides financial support ranging from $500 to $1,500 for undergraduate, graduate, postdoctoral, and veterinary students to attend and present their work at IETS 2027.
